Hello. Welcome to my mobile site. It has all the stuff you need to know but in a neat little format that fits nice and snug on your phone screen. Slide and scroll to your hearts content. Feel free to press the 'contact' button at any time and I'll give you a ring back. Cheers, Nick.

As well as training and coaching, I get asked to speak at away-days, conferences and dinners. I also do a bit of Stand-Up, when time allows.
No matter on which subject I am asked to speak - networking, selling, starting your own business, presenting, speaking in public or writing a book, I offer a cast iron NPP guarantee. That's NO POWER POINT, no matter what size of audience.
Which means your delegates will enjoy themselves, learn some stuff, all without falling in to a persistent vegetative state.
Hi, I'm Nick Davies and I run the Really Great Training Company.
I'm 6'3", have dark hair, am a gemini, with a GSOH and love walks in the.......
Sorry! Wrong website!
I've been a sales rep, sales supervisor, sandwich maker, purveyor of footwear to David Beckham, sales director, practising barrister, stand-up comedian and started four of my own businesses from scratch and now use all that experience, helping people get miles better at a range of communication skills.
Oh, and I've written a book 'How to be Great at the Stuff You Hate: the straight talking guide to persuading, networking & selling.'
Want to know more? Read on.
The title says it all.
I'd prefer if you paid full price at a bookshop (I earn more money & my kids would like a trip to the Seychelles) However, if you feel the need to save a few bob, here is the link to Amazon.

The Really Great Training Company is small.
In fact, I AM the Really Great Training Company: there is no one else. No associates, no employees or affliates. My clients & I prefer it that way because the guy they meet, discuss training or speaking requirements with is the guy that delivers it. Kinda cuts out the middle man and keeps things simple.
I help people get better. Get better at speaking in public, networking, developing business, persuading, influencing and negotiating.
My work takes me all over the world, working with loads of different people and all sorts of organisations, whether that's delivering one to one coaching or addressing audiences of many 100s.
My training is engaging and entertaining: people laugh during my courses (and not in a nervous "please make him stop, he's making me feel uncomfortable" way).
Not many of us like the whole 'putting a name badge on and making friends with people' bit. And whilst I can't promise that you will after attending this course, I will guarantee that you'll be miles more relaxed and confident the next time you have to.
To be honest; most networking courses cover much the same stuff and mine's no different - working the room, moving on, remembering names, breaking in to a group, blah, blah
BUT with one, very important exception...the follow up.
By the end of this course, you'll have a full-proof method for arranging that follow-up coffee - and without being a pushy pain in the backside.
This course is great. Down to earth, practical and full of stuff you can use when you need to persuade and negotiate; whether in your personal or work life.
You'll learn about the 4 mistakes that you should avoid, the 2 things that you must possess if you are to stand a chance and the 6 ways that we are all persuaded.
The vast majority of people don't negotiate: they haggle and haggling and negotiating are two different things. You'll learn the difference between the two, how to prepare, whether to make the first or second offer and even how to handle people who won't play ball.
One of the reasons I gave up being a lawyer was because I missed the thrill of selling. Honest. I love it and am passionate about it and I've developed a course specifically for those of you who are either new to sales, are thinking about starting your own business or find yourself having to develop business as part of your role.
I'll teach you a simple, practical, step-by-step process that anyone can follow AND brings in business.
TARGET - CONNECT - MEET - ASK (and FOLLOW UP at every stage).
Apart from Tom Jones - he used to get his mum to announce him from behind the curtains before singing for his family in the front room - the vast majority of us do do not like standing up and performing, whether it's a presentation, pitch, speech or rallying call to the team.
And whilst it's true to say that some people will just never be able to do it, the vast majority of us (and I include myself because I used to be painfully shy) can get better at it with a bit of guidance and some practice.
By the end of this course you'll know: how to adapt to your audience, how to make an emotional connection with them and what to do to win them over every time - all without ever going near a PowerPoint slide.
