Building relationships that work.
OK, cards on the table; I love my job. I love training and stand up and after dinner speaking. Flippin' 'eck, I open the fridge door, the light comes on, I do 20 minutes!
But I really love the one to one coaching I do.
I love it because people open up to me, they tell me what it is that keeps them awake at night thinking about that presentation or business development/networking issue they've got.
I love it because I can really focus my experience and knowledge in to providing them with suggestions, thoughts and ideas that they can use now, right away, this instant.
I love it because I get to see, even in the space of a two or three hours an improvement: real, genuine, permanent improvement. And they get to see it. They begin to witness a change in themselves, simply by thinking about things differently, trying something new: a different approach.
And I love it because they go from believing that they are never going to master public speaking or be terribly confident at networking or anything much beyond 'alright' at business development, to realising that they could actually - with a bit of practice - be bloody marvellous at it!
Whether you need help for a specific event, you simply want to address a couple points you know are holding you back or get an outsiders opinion and guidance, then this will help. Perhaps it's the delivery of a speech that concerns you or maybe your perceived lack of small -talk whilst networking or a worry about 'closing the deal' when selling, that's holding you back? Whatever the reason or problem, this kind of coaching is priceless. (Not free though: I'm not running a charity!)
